Manufacturing begins the following day of ordering and the product is sent on the same day to keep the Kimchi at its freshest. Fermentation begins during transit. Ice is packed within the package to maximise freshness.
Once you receive our Kimchi, we would recommend you slightly open the lid to get the natural carbon dioxide gas out. This releases pressure that builds up within the jar avoiding leakage or you can put Kimchi in a separate airtight container.
Leave Kimchi for at least 24 hours at room temperature for a proper fermentation and then refrigerate it before serving. ‘Enjoy the healthy live probiotics!’
The fermentation process can be disturbed when it is in constant contact with oxygen. Therefore, in order to maintain the best conditions for your Kimchi, it is best to keep the product in an airtight container and at 0-5 Celcius. Most of home fridges are below 5 Celcius.
We recommend consuming within 15 days of opening the jar.
